For Guests

How do I request a ticket?

Find the event you want to attend, click 'Request Ticket', fill out the registration form, and submit. The host will review your request and approve or reject it.

When will I receive my ticket?

Once the host approves your request and confirms payment, a branded PDF ticket will be emailed to you. You can also check the status on the 'My Tickets' page.

What payment methods are accepted?

Payment is handled directly with the host offline — common methods include cash, Zelle, Venmo, and check. The host specifies their preferred method on the event page.

Can I transfer my ticket to someone else?

Tickets are tied to your registered name and email and are non-transferable by default. If you need to transfer, contact the event host directly.

How do I check in at the event?

Show the PDF ticket (printed or on your phone) at the door. The host's staff will scan the QR code to verify your ticket.

What if I don't receive my ticket email?

Check your spam folder first. If it's not there, visit 'My Tickets' on TixReady to check your status. You can also contact the event host directly.

For Event Hosts

How do I create an event?

Sign in, go to your dashboard, and click 'Create New Event'. Follow the 4-step wizard: Basic Info → Schedule & Tickets → Event Details → Upload Media.

How do I approve guest registrations?

In your dashboard, click 'Guests' on the event row. You'll see all pending requests. Click 'Approve' on a request, enter the amount received, and click 'Approve & Generate Ticket'.

Can I add check-in staff?

Yes — use Team Management (button in the dashboard header) to invite check-in staff by email. You can grant org-wide access or restrict them to a specific event.

How does check-in work?

Use the TixReady mobile app to scan tickets at the door. The app works offline — scan QR codes without internet and syncs automatically when connectivity is restored.

Can I edit my event after it's created?

Yes — click 'Edit' on any event in your dashboard. You can update details, images, custom registration fields, ticket tiers, FAQs, and branding from the edit page.

How do I export my guest list?

On the Guests page for any event, click 'Export CSV' to download all guests with their details including ticket type, quantity, payment method, and amount received.

What is the 'Register Interest' feature?

If your event isn't open for registrations yet, guests can register their interest (name, email, phone). You'll see these in the 'Register Interest' tab on the Guests page and can email them when tickets go live.

Can I cancel a guest's ticket?

Yes — on the Guests page, click 'Cancel' on any PENDING or APPROVED row. The guest's QR code will be immediately invalidated so they cannot check in.
